Shipping Policy (India Only)
At Alvencia™, we aim to make your shopping experience as seamless and quick as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle order processing, shipping, and delivery for purchases made on Alvencia™.com. Currently, we ship only within India, and we've partnered with reliable logistics providers to ensure your products reach you on time and in perfect condition.
Order Processing Time
- Fast Handling: Orders placed on our website are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1 business day (24 hours). This means that once you've placed an order and payment is confirmed, our warehouse team springs into action to pack your items securely.
- Orders placed before 12:00 PM IST on a business day will often be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after that cutoff or on weekends/public holidays will be dispatched on the next business day. (Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays.)
- We conduct a final quality check for each product before it's packed, to ensure you receive the correct items in good condition. In the rare case an item you ordered is out of stock or there's an unforeseen delay, our team will inform you promptly via email or phone.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Delivery Timeframe: We offer standard shipping across India, which on average takes 2-5 business days from the date of dispatch to reach you. Actual delivery time depends on your location:
- Metro cities and state capitals: Typically 2-3 business days after dispatch.
- Other cities and towns: Typically 3-5 business days.
- Remote or rural areas: It could take up to 5-7 business days, depending on connectivity. We'll do our best to get it to you as fast as possible.
- Shipping Modes: Depending on the destination and serviceability, we ship orders via air or surface transport. Air shipping is used for long distances to ensure faster delivery (especially for southern or northeastern states if we dispatch from North India). Surface (road/rail) is used for closer regions or where air service is not available for certain product categories. Regardless of mode, we choose the fastest and most efficient option to reach your specific address.
- Courier Partners: We have tied up with leading courier and delivery partners like Delhivery, Bluedart, Ekart, Xpressbees, and others. The choice of courier may vary based on your pin-code and their service availability, but rest assured, all our partners are reputable and provide tracking services. Our system automatically selects the best courier for your region to minimize transit time and ensure reliability.
- Shipping Charges: We are thrilled to offer free standard shipping on all orders within India. There is no additional shipping fee for you – the price you see at checkout is the final price.
- We do not currently offer express or overnight shipping options. In our experience, the 2-5 day window covers most needs. However, if you have an urgent requirement, do contact us – we'll try our best to accommodate special requests if feasible.
Order Tracking
- Shipment Confirmation: Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a Shipping Confirmation email/SMS with your tracking number and a link to track the shipment. If you have an Alvencia™ account, you can also find the tracking details in your order history/logged-in dashboard.
- Tracking Your Order: Simply click on the tracking link provided, or go to the courier's website and enter the tracking number. You'll be able to see the real-time status of your delivery – from the pickup at our warehouse, all the way to your doorstep. Status updates typically include when the package is in transit, out for delivery, etc.
- If you encounter any issues with tracking (for example, no update for more than 48 hours or a "delivery attempt failed" notice that you don't understand), please reach out to our customer support at support@alvencia.com or via live chat. We will happily look into it and coordinate with the courier on your behalf.
Delivery Conditions
- Address Accuracy: Please ensure that you provide a complete and accurate shipping address and contact number at the time of order. Include landmarks if necessary to help the delivery agent locate you. Alvencia™ will not be responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you realize a mistake in your address after placing an order, contact us immediately. We may be able to update the address if the order hasn't been shipped yet.
- Delivery Attempts: Our courier partners usually make up to 2-3 attempts for delivery. If you are not available at the address during a delivery attempt, they might contact you via phone. Please make sure the phone number provided with your order is reachable. If the package remains undelivered (due to no-response, etc.) after the final attempt, it will be marked as undeliverable and returned to our warehouse. In such cases, we will reach out to you to arrange a re-delivery or refund as appropriate.
- Inspection on Delivery: We advise you to inspect the package upon delivery. If you notice any significant damage to the outer packaging, you may choose to refuse delivery. However, minor dents or scratches on the box due to transit may not affect the product inside. If you accept a shipment and later find the item is damaged or wrong, don't worry – just contact us and we will sort it out (see Damages section below).
- Signature/OTP on Delivery: For security of high-value orders or certain regions, our delivery partner may require a signature or an OTP (one-time password) confirmation upon delivery. This is to ensure the package has reached the right person. The OTP will usually be sent to your registered phone number when the delivery agent is at your doorstep. Please cooperate with the delivery agent in providing the code or signature. This extra step helps prevent theft or misdelivery.
- Undeliverable Packages: Sometimes packages are returned to us as "undeliverable". This could happen due to incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or occasionally if the address is out of serviceable range (though our system tries to prevent taking orders for non-serviceable pin codes). If we receive an undelivered package back, our team will contact you to verify the address and arrange a re-dispatch. Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment in case the address provided initially was incorrect. If you prefer to cancel the order at that point, we can process a refund minus any two-way shipping costs incurred.
Shipping Restrictions
- We currently ship only within India. We do not offer international shipping. If you are an international customer interested in our products, please contact us – we'll note your interest and might inform you if/when we expand globally.
- We cannot ship to PO Boxes or military camps (e.g., APO/FPO addresses) at this time. A full street address is required for delivery.
- Certain products (for example, aerosol sprays or alcohol-based products like perfumes) might have restrictions via air transport due to safety regulations. For those, we ensure surface shipping and that might lead to a slightly longer delivery time. We'll communicate any such exceptions on the product page or during checkout.
- During big sale events or promotions, dispatch and delivery times might extend by a day or two due to high volume. We appreciate your patience in those cases and will work diligently to get your order to you as fast as possible.
Delays and Issues
We strive to stick to our promised timelines, but there are rare circumstances that might cause delays:
- Natural Calamities or Unforeseen Events: Delivery might be impacted by events like extreme weather, floods, lockdowns, strikes, or other force majeure events beyond our control. In such situations, we request your understanding. We will actively communicate any known delays to you.
- Courier Delays: While we partner with the best couriers, occasional delays in transit can happen (e.g., logistical backlogs, transportation issues). If your order has not arrived within the expected window, please first check the tracking information. It might show an updated expected date. If it's significantly delayed or not moving, reach out to us. We will contact the courier to expedite the process or send a replacement if necessary.
- Lost Packages: Although very rare, if a package is confirmed lost by our courier partner (no tracking updates for an extended period and they cannot locate it), we will take full responsibility. You will be offered a free replacement shipment (if stock is available) or a full refund, as per your preference, at the earliest.
- Damaged or Opened Package: If you receive a parcel that appears tampered with or damaged, please take a photo of it before opening (if possible) and report it to us immediately at support@alvencia.com. We may ask the courier to investigate. If the product itself is damaged or missing due to the package being tampered, it will be treated under our Return/Refund policy – we will arrange a return pickup and send a replacement or issue a refund.
